Thanks again Rosita! I think as kids, if we're not taught or shown proper behavior, we often resort to the worst-case scenario. And you bring up a great point, parents and educators must set the example, otherwise the badly-behaved children will simply grow up into badly-behaved adults. Thanks for your input and insight.

What another great entry.... I will definitely share this with my students! You are right, attitude us a reflection on us. Just like you Emily as a little girl, Jordan our daughter deals with the same attitude issues as well. I tell her it is easier to smile than to be angry. I wish a lot of middle and teenagers learned this lesson. So many in the school system especially the inner city schools are just mad all the time for no reason or always blaming others for being angry. And like you said in your blog earlier that attitude is a reflection on it's leadership is true. These parents are walking around with these "he did me wrong" and "I am mad at the world attitude" no wonder why our children are looking and feeling the same way. In the end, life is too short to be mad at someone all the time. We all have to answer to God for our actions one day, and I don't want God asking me why I was mad all the time, because there is no answer that I can give that can justify my actions. Again great blog!!
