Thanks G! I’m so glad you shared your situation. SOOOO many women are in your position. You’re certainly not alone in your struggles. So many of us grapple with the decision to forgo a successful career and staying home with our children. Many of us simply can’t afford to make that move (at least not at the moment). I hope you will keep pushing ahead, maintaining a clear vision of how you’d ideally like to live your life. Remember: Dreams never die on their own, only when we suffocate them. Emily, not only is this inspiring, it’s entertaining, engaging, and thought provoking. As you know, I’m a new mommy as well. And although I wanted to, I was afraid to jump out on faith with my career after I had my daughter. Almost two years later, I’m truly feeling “stuck”, and constantly searching for more. Prayer and blessings keep me going at my job everyday. I vow to become a “Career Pioneer” and take hold of my destiny. We have 1 life to live, why not? This was right on time. Thank you.
